overview

Accelerate digital transformation

The Digital Process Library serves as a repository of scalable digital solutions. It enables governments to accelerate digital transformation and scale successful solutions across departments and agencies.

By providing pre-built, configurable processes inspired by Danish government best practices, the process library helps public authorities rapidly implement digital solutions without lengthy development cycles.

This standardized approach allows institutions to launch fully digital workflows in weeks instead of months or years.

For example, a permitting process implemented in one municipality can be easily adapted and reused in others, ensuring consistency, reducing costs, and shortening implementation time.

enhance e-governance

How the digital process library enhances eGovernance

Every business process in the library is designed to enhance e-governance by improving transparency and efficiency and thereby building accountable and sustainable institutions. Whether it’s managing public hearings, handling grant applications, or processing building permits, the workflows ensure:

  • Clear audit trails
  • Faster case handling
  • Improved communication between government offices, businesses, and citizens

promote resilience

Promoting inclusion, economic stability, and resilience in government

The process library includes processes that directly support social services, economic development programs, and environmental oversight.

For example, a social benefit application process helps citizens access services quickly, while a business grant process helps local companies apply for funding in a clear, digital-first manner.

These processes make government services more accessible while helping communities build economic resilience.

Digital first strategy

The role of a digital first strategy in government modernization

At the core of cBrain’s approach is the Digital First strategy—delivering solutions that are designed to work digitally from day one, rather than digitizing paper-based processes after the fact. This approach, supported by the Digital Process Library, ensures governments can quickly respond to new policy needs, evolving regulations, or external challenges like pandemics or climate-related crises.

Examples of processes in the library:

  • Permit Applications: From business licenses to building permits, streamlining application intake, reviews, and approvals.
  • Grant and Subsidy Management: Managing the full lifecycle, from application to disbursement and reporting.
  • Inspections and Regulatory Controls: Automating scheduling, on-site data capture, follow-ups, and reporting.
  • Citizen Services: Handling social benefit applications, family law cases, and public inquiries efficiently and with full transparency.
  • Policy Implementation: Enabling municipalities to quickly execute new policies—whether on climate initiatives, economic stimulus, or public health—through ready-to-use workflows.

By combining flexibility, speed, and proven best practices, the Digital Process Library empowers governments to deliver better citizen services, faster, and with greater transparency—while building a resilient foundation for future challenges.
