The Academy for Digital Government is established to empower African leaders and civil servants with the skills, tools, and strategies needed to lead digital transformation across government.
Its broad purpose is to support the development of efficient, transparent, and citizen-focused public services by building digital capacity at all levels of administration.
In alignment with the UNDP Digital Offer for Africa, the Academy brings proven methods and best practices, adapted from the Danish public sector experience, to the African context.
The first course series focuses on enabling the transition to a Paperless Ministry. Through practical training and strategic guidance, participants learn how to lead and plan digital transformation into digital working environments and laying the foundation for digital governance.
